The Lost Distillery Company is an independent distillery that uses history and research to bring old whiskeys back to life. For these whiskeys young and old casks are used to create 15-18 year old whiskeys.
Dalaruan Archivist is a blend of malt whiskeys with a maritime and lightly smoked character. Founded in 1825 by Charles Colville in the Campbeltown area, the Dalaruan Distillery was auctioned off and closed in 1925 due to the recession. The Lost Distillery Company's mission is to create contemporary expressions of legendary whiskeys that were part of the whiskey distillery craft of the 18th and 20th centuries. The Archivist range consists of blended malts, 46% of which are bottled by hand without chill-filtration or colouring.
