Highland Park Distillery was founded by Magnus Eunson in 1798. Today the distillery is owned by The Edrington Group.
The distillery is Scotland's most northerly whiskey distillery and is located in Kirkwall on the Mainland Orkney Island.
Highland Park's distillery buildings are listed on the Scottish Monuments Lists and are memorialised produces around 2.5 million liters of whiskey annually.

Highland Park Cask Strength Release No. 3 is an extremely complex whiskey distilled with a higher than average proportion of peated Orkney malt. The whiskey is matured in three different types of casks: first-fill sherry casks made from European and American white oak and a smaller number of refill casks. The bottling takes place both without chill filtration and without added water or coloring.
