Highland Park Distillery was founded by Magnus Eunson in 1798. Today, The Edrington Group owns the distillery.
It is the most northerly whiskey distillery in Scotland and is located in Kirkwall on the Orkney island Mainland.

Highland Park Distillery buildings are on the Scottish Monuments Lists and produce around 2.5 million liters of whiskey annually.

Highland Park Distillery is the inspiration for theirs new line of products from the animal kingdom, so each bottling has its own flavor profile.

According to Norse legend, a mighty eagle sits atop the sacred ash tree, Yggdrasil. With the beating of its wings, it creates winds that sweep over the earth.

Maturation takes place mainly in European oak barrels.
