Highland Park Distillery was founded by Magnus Eunson in 1798. Today, The Edrington Group owns the distillery.
It is the most northerly whiskey distillery in Scotland and is located in Kirkwall on the Orkney island Mainland.
Highland Park's distillery buildings are on the Scottish Monument Lists and produce around 2.5 million liters of whiskey annually.
This exquisite whiskey is an exclusive bottling for Germany, where initially the Distillation took place in 2009. The single malt, which is limited to 309 bottles, was bottled in 2021 with an alcohol content of 63.6%. This Highland Park single malt comes from cask 4860, which was a refill hogshead.
