Ardbeg is considered `undoubtedly the most impressive distillery in the world`. The house was founded in 1815 and was just saved from the company closure in 1997. The distillery is located on the storm-swept, rugged and famous whiskey island of Islay off the west coast of Scotland.
The second edition of deliciously deep, powerfully peaty and wonderfully wild Corryvreckan. The name Corryvreckan comes from a sea vortex north of Islay. Only the bravest sailors dare to go there.

Magnificent aromatic scents and a flood of strong peaty and peppery taste come from a Corryvreckan cask and can be found as well as the salty seaweed taste combined with lots of vanilla also on the palate.

But beware: Corryvreckan, like the whirlpool of the same name, is not for the weak-chested!
