With Edition 46, Rumclub Berlin presents a strictly limited single cask rum from Guyana. Distilled in April 2008 by Demerara Distillers Limited (DDL) using a traditional diamond still, this rum matured in the cask for 16 years. Bottled in July 2024 at a robust 63.6% ABV, it was poured directly from the cask – unfiltered, without sugar or any other additives. This limited edition comprises only 298 bottles, offering a particularly authentic glimpse into the distinctive world of Guyana rum.

What does Rumclub Berlin 46 Guyana 2008 Diamond Still taste like? On the nose, the rum is powerful and complex, with aromas of dark fruits, ripe plums, and spicy wood. These are complemented by hints of caramel, vanilla, and a touch of molasses. On the palate, it is intense and full-bodied, with notes of dark chocolate, dried fruits, and robust spices. The high cask strength provides a good amount of warmth, while notes of oak, coffee, and brown sugar increasingly develop. The long finish leaves behind spicy wood notes, dark chocolate, and a pleasant, warming sweetness.
