The Abingdon Inaugural Release is the distillery’s very first single malt English whisky. Limited to just 300 bottles worldwide, this collector’s item is a true highlight for connoisseurs. Crafted from 100% traditionally hand-malted English barley, the whisky matured for a good three years in an exclusive combination of first-fill ex-bourbon casks and fine Château Margaux red wine casks. Distilled in the "Big Phil" hybrid still, it is bottled at 42.5% ABV. To preserve its authentic character, the single malt remains completely natural: unfiltered and free from artificial coloring.

On the nose, the Abingdon Inaugural Release unfolds a deep interplay of dark chocolate and ripe, stewed plums, underscored by juicy black cherries and a delicate hint of honey. On the palate, the single malt reveals a playful yet creamy character, evoking memories of colorful chocolate-coated candies and the signature sweetness of malt biscuits. These impressions blend with a slightly tart note of fresh raspberries and soft vanilla. The long-lasting finish leaves behind a comforting impression of freshly baked malt cookies.
