Stratheden Vintage consists of a malt blend that opens with notes of pastry and salted butter, followed by iodine and spices. Founded in 1829 by Alexander Bonthrone in the Lowlands near Auchtermuchty, Fife, Stratheden distillery closed in 1926 due to a US ban. The Lost Distillery Company is dedicated to creating contemporary expressions of legendary whiskeys that were the craft of whiskey distilling almost a century ago. The vintage range consists of blended malts older than 25 years and bottled at 46%.
