Jericho Vintage is made from a blend of exceptional single malts with a rich, fruity and spicy profile. Rediscovering Jericho is above all a journey into Scotland's past! The once iconic Jericho Distillery was founded in 1822 by William Smith in Aberdeenshire in the Highlands. Jericho, which also went by the name Benachie, became known for shipping and then aging its whiskeys in sherry casks - formerly addressed to "gentlemen travellers". Due to difficulties in the domestic market, the distillery finally closed its doors in 1913.
