The Lost Distillery Company is an independent distillery that uses history and research to bring old whiskeys back to life. For these whiskeys young and old casks are used to create 15-18 year old whiskeys.
The Lost Distillery Archivist Jericho is a highly aromatic blended Scotch whiskey and an exciting experiment in one. Because the manufacturer Lost Distillery has set itself the task of breathing new life into the whiskey from long-closed distilleries. To this end, a research team headed by Professor Michael Moss from Glasgow is researching the most important key information. This includes information about which water, which barley, which yeast and which barrels were used, as well as the equipment of the distillery, the era in which it produced or with which neighboring distilleries it could have had contact. A flavor profile of the missing whiskey is then created based on this information.
