The Port Askaig Cask Strength Small Batch #01-2023 was released as part of the brand's relaunch in 2023. The Islay Single Malt Whiskey matured in both first-filled bourbon barrels and refilled American oak barrels. In addition to the typical Islay peat smoke note, there are aromas of vanilla and citrus fruits. Each batch contains a maximum of 60 barrels and therefore offers a slightly different flavor of Islay whiskey.
