This is the fourth edition in Lochlea`s First Crop series, released with Plowing the Barley.

Ploughing is Lochlea`s first-ever smoky release and the first smoky whiskey to be made by her master blender, John Campbell has been produced since he left Laphroaig in 2021. Lochlea`s unpeated spirit has been matured in a combination of casks and quarter casks that previously held peated Islay malt whiskey. These casks impart a subtle smokiness to the fruity spirit, resulting in a warming dram perfect for the cold winter months.
