Lochlea Distillery is an independent single malt distillery owned by John Campbell, based at Lochlea Farm in Ayrshire in the Lowlands. The old farm has been converted into a bonded distillery. The distillery started operations in August 2018.
Love, care and attention from field to cask have been paramount in the creation of this whiskey. The family-run farm grows and harvests its own barley using draff that is used to feed local cattle. Water is raised from aquifers in the limestone deep below the Steading.

This single malt whiskey is aged in first fill bourbon barrels, Oloroso sherry butts and STR barriques. The Lochlea `our barley` Single Malt Scotch Whiskey is not chill-filtered and not coloured.
