Laphroaig is a whiskey distillery on the Scottish Hebrides island of Islay and is owned by the Japanese-American Beam Suntory group. The distillery buildings are on the Scottish National Registers. When making Laphroaig, malted barley is dried over a peat fire. The smoke from this peat, only found on Islay, gives Laphroaig its particularly rich flavor.



This whiskey is the original whiskey, made 75 been distilled for years.
