Lagavulin 12 Years Old The Lion's Fire Special Release is part of Diageo's 2021 Special Release range. All whiskeys in this range are bottled at cask strength. Eight Scottish distilleries are represented in these special releases.
The design of the bottle is unique, according to legend a rampant lion roamed around Islay Castle. The lion won his crown through ferocity and fire. It has become the symbol of one of Scotland's most fiery distilleries.
On the bottle is the lion surrounded by thistles, his mane of flames.

Nose: Smoky, citrus oil, baby powder, jasmine, seaweed.
Flavour: Woody, bitter, smoky, cloves, pink peppercorns, pine needles, orange and grapefruit peel.
Finish: Long lasting.
