Lagavulin 12 Years Old Special Release 2023 is a powerful single malt whiskey from the Scottish island of Islay. After initial maturation in American oak, an interesting finish was carried out in former Don Julio tequila barrels. Rich and smoky in character with subtle nuances of plums, spices and more. Lagavulin 12 Years Special Release 2023 has an alcohol content of 56.4% vol.

Spicy and warming influences come from the glass, with smoky campfire, stone fruit, white chocolate and grilled fruit notes in the background. In terms of taste, aromas such as smoke influences, spicy notes, different types of fruit and spiced oak wood can be perceived. The finish combines salty and sweet elements.
