Highland Park Distillery was founded by Magnus Eunson in 1798. Today, The Edrington Group owns the distillery.
It is the most northerly whiskey distillery in Scotland and is located in Kirkwall on the Orkney island Mainland.
Highland Park's distillery buildings are on the Scottish Register of Historic Places and produce around 2.5 million liters of whiskey annually.
Highland Park Cask Strength Release No. 2 is aged in sherry-seasoned American oak casks as well as in European sherry casks.
The bottling takes place both without chill filtration and without added water or coloring.
