Although there is no distillery at the ruins of Finlaggan Castle, this is home to the `Lord of the Isles`. These give their name to the fine malt whiskeys produced by The Vintage Malt Whisky.

Nose: Intense, rich, malt.
Flavour: Strong, balanced, peat, smoky, hints of citrus.
Finish: Long lasting, hints of peat.
A whiskey with a taste somewhere between Lagavulin and Caol Ila.
