Although there is no distillery at the ruins of Finlaggan Castle, this is home to the 'Lord of the Isles'. These give their name to the fine malt whiskeys produced by The Vintage Malt Whisky.

Nose: Intense, rich, malt.
Flavour: Strong, balanced, peat, smoky, hints of citrus.
Finish: Long lasting, hints of peat.
A whiskey with a taste somewhere between Lagavulin and Caol Ila.
