Nose: Fresh, dry, notes of heather, peat.
Flavour: Soft, light, smooth, notes of heather honey, vanilla, citrus fruits , hint of malt bread.
Finish: Long-lasting, intense, sweet-smoky, peat, malt.
The pure heather notes of the 15-year-old Dalwhinnie are best enjoyed neat or perhaps with a dash of still spring water.
