Bruichladdich 10 Years Old BERE BARLEY 2013 Whiskey is finely balanced and testifies to the resilience of the ancient grain. Matured in a combination of first fill bourbon casks and second fill Pauillac wine casks, the single malt delicately balances the malty sweetness of Bere barley with oak, with additional hints of fresh green fruit and lightly spiced gingerbread.

How does Bruichladdich 10 Years Old BERE BARLEY 2013 taste?

On the nose: Inviting aromas of warm citrus, exotic fruits and sweet malted flour greet the senses, followed by a harmonious blend of fruit, oak and malted Bere barley. The nuances of fragrant peach peel, fresh vanilla beans, candied orange and creamy caramel candy give the bouquet an enticing depth.

In the mouth: Notes of popcorn, brown sugar and warm porridge unfold on the tongue. The Bere barley contributes to a gentle, round mouthfeel and harmonizes perfectly with the sweet, slightly stony fruit notes. Apricot, peach, melon and candied orange are balanced by the subtle influence of oak, which adds hints of vanilla, coconut and marzipan.

Finish: The smooth finish is characterized by milk chocolate, malted grains and crème brûlée, while hints of mango and orange blossom honey linger for a long time, giving the overall experience a pleasant, lingering sweetness.
