The Ardbeg SCORCH was released for Ardbeg Day 2021. Every year the 'Fèis Ile' festival is celebrated on the island of Islay. The Ardbeg brand plays a major role on the 620 km² island with 3228 inhabitants. According to legend, Warehouse No. 3 a fire-breathing dragon that chars the barrel lids and barrels. The only one who supposedly defies the dragon is the distillery's dog, Shortie. This special limited edition was created through this interplay of fire and aromas.
The single malt matures in heavily charred American white oak bourbon casks.

Color: Light Gold.
Nose: Strong, smoke, soot, aniseed, saddle soap, sage, pine, briar wood.
Flavour: Oily, sweet smoke, charred oak, black liquorice, medicinal lozenges.
Finish: Long lasting, slightly after tar.
