Ardbeg is considered 'undoubtedly the most impressive distillery in the world'. The house was founded in 1815 and was just saved from the company closure in 1997. The distillery is located on the storm-swept, rugged and famous whiskey island of Islay off the west coast of Scotland.
The second edition of deliciously deep, powerfully peaty and wonderfully wild Corryvreckan. The name Corryvreckan comes from a sea vortex north of Islay. Only the bravest sailors dare to go there.

Magnificent aromatic scents and a flood of strong peaty and peppery taste come from a Corryvreckan cask and can be found as well as the salty seaweed taste combined with lots of vanilla also on the palate.

But beware: Corryvreckan, like the whirlpool of the same name, is not for the weak-chested!
