The Rascan tool is used to break up the upper level of the uneven ground and prepare the land for peat harvesting. It clears the heather turf to reveal the peat that is used to make a whiskey.

AnCnoc Rascan is a special edition tofted single malt whiskey. Its initial honey sweetness is followed by green apples and the accents of orange and lemon so typical of anCnoc.

The Gaulish name anCnoc means "the hill"
