In 2012, anCnoc partnered with Scottish-born illustrator Peter Arkle to launch a range of limited edition whiskeys. Peter, who now lives in New York, calls anCnoc a "remarkable liquid" and enjoys its "magic" so it seemed fitting that he should work on making the packaging for our collection.
Every tube and label design was inspired by Peter's visit to the Knockdhu Distillery and shows a unique aspect of the internal processes.

A dark warehouse with hundreds of anCnoc casks is something very special that is rarely allowed to be seen. It's like a glimpse into a sacred, spiritual place. Nothing seems to happen but there is an incredible feeling of time passing. Magic happens - slowly and quietly. This limited edition is aged in American and Spanish oak casks, resulting in a refreshingly light dram.
