Ancient Mariner was made with the rum used by the Royal Navy in mind. To revive the classic rum, it was sampled and recreated with 16-year-old cask strength rum from Trinidad's Caroni distillery.

This is a very rich, balanced rum, going down the throat velvety and smooth with a peppery note and some tobacco and peat.
