SBS stands for Single Barrel Selection. As the name suggests, only one cask is filled for each product in this 1423 product line.
Each cask is selected for the respective bottling under special criteria and is offered with a limited number of bottles.
The entire SBS series includes only classic rums, no blends, to express the versatility of rums and their unique quality and exquisite taste.
The SBS Cuba Rum is made in a distillery in Cuba.
It matures for 9 years in an ex-Bourbon cask followed by the second maturation in a Virgin Oak cask: as usual with the SBS series, no chill filtration is used.
