The Cuban Arecha Rum goes back to José Arechabala, who also founded the rum brands Bacardi and Havana Club near Havana at the end of the 19th century. However, the Arecha Rum clearly sets itself apart from these with its soft, full-bodied taste.
In the meantime, this rum has been forgotten.
Sugar cane from the Sierra Meeastre Mountains, which is known for its particularly good quality, is used for the Arecha Rum.

Arecha Carta Blanca matured for 1-3 years in casks made of Californian oak. Due to the short maturation period, the straw-colored rum has a very interesting flavor profile, which contains the full aroma of mild Cuban sugar cane. The rum is very present on the palate and is reminiscent of banana and caramel.
