With the Kyrö Malt Rye Whisky, the relatively young Kyrö Distillery from western Finland presents the first Finnish rye whiskey, which is made from 100 percent domestic and malted whole grain rye. The exceptional rye whiskey is distilled twice in copper stills and then matured in fresh American white oak barrels. It is characterized by its high quality and its unique taste, which convinces both whiskey fans and the specialist public.
Finnish rye whiskey was awarded the gold medal (98/100 points) at the International Wine & Spirit Competition in 2020.
