As the name suggests, the Aberlour TRIPLE CASK Highland Single Malt Scotch Whiskey matures in three different types of casks.
Two different types of American white oak casks and a European type of sherry cask form the basis.
Nose: Notes of honey, pears, vanilla.
Flavour: Sweet, spicy, notes of oranges, apples, raisins, roasted almonds, hint of liquorice.
Finish: Long persistent, spicy-sweet.
