The Aberlour 12 Years Old Double Cask Matured matured for at least 12 years in two types of casks - namely in ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks. The contents of the two different types of casks are only combined shortly before bottling.
Colour: amber with red accents.
Nose: fruity, honey, grapes, nuts, almond cake, crème brûlée, notes of malt and wood, hints of spices.
Flavour: Fruity, sweet, spicy, grain, notes of wood.
Finish: Long-lasting.
