With GOAT`s Gin, the family distillery Birkenhof from the Westerwald presents another exquisite gin in their gin collection, which is characterized by its special mildness and elegance. This is a classic dry gin made from numerous botanicals such as juniper berries, lavender, rosemary, fresh orange peel, pepper and fresh spearmint. It is characterized by its intense juniper note, which is harmoniously accompanied by the aromas of the other botanicals.
The GOAT`s Westerwald Dry Gin is an innovative gin that owes its velvety and almost creamy character to the filtration with goat`s milk. The purification of distillates with milk protein is a very old process that gives distillates their special purity and smoothness. The GOAT`s Gin was developed by the Birkenhof distillery together with the Kleine Fromagerie from Oberrod in the Westerwald, which runs its own goat farm in addition to the manufactory. The goat`s milk for cleaning comes from goats of the Weisse Deutsche Edelziege breed.
