The Lost Distillery Company is an independent distillery that uses history and research to bring old whiskeys back to life. For these whiskeys young and old casks are used to create 15-18 year old whiskeys.

The Lossit distillery was taken as a model for the Lossit Classic Selection Lost Distillery. It had an excellent reputation in its day, but that period spanned the years from 1817 to 1867. Lost Distillery's blend brings the distillery's produce back to life. An exciting experiment that should appeal to every true whiskey fan.


The Lossit Classic Selection has a wonderful scent that reveals notes of smoke, malt, grain and citrus. On the palate, the whiskey presents itself with a nice spiciness and notes of vanilla and ginger. The finish is long lasting and warming. A beautiful whiskey - whether with or the background story. However, the background story makes the enjoyment all the more exciting.
