The Lost Distillery Company is an independent distillery that uses history and research to bring old whiskeys back to life. For these whiskeys young and old casks are used to create 15-18 year old whiskeys.
The Jericho distillery was founded in 1822 in Aberdeenshire. It closed in 1913. Over 100 distilleries met the same fate in Scotland in the 20th century. Bringing these distilleries back to life by delving into the past to better see the future is the goal that drives the founders of the Lost Distillery Company.
Profile: Balanced and smooth. A basket full of fresh fruit (pear, apple, plum) and an equally honeyed aspect.
