Auchnagie Archivist is a malt blend with fine spice and fruit notes. Vanilla and sweet aromas are present on the nose and continue on the palate. The finish is long and elegant. Auchnagie was founded in 1812 by James Duff in Perthshire in the Highlands. It closed its doors for good in 1911.
The Lost Distillery Company's mission is to reproduce the styles of Scottish single malts that were lost during the numerous distillery closures of the 19th and 20th centuries. The Archivist range consists of small batches of exceptional blended malts. Each bottle is numbered and bottled at 46% with no chill filtration or added coloring.
