The Nadurra Peated Whiskey Batch PW1016 is a very unusual Glenlivet whiskey with 62% vol. Unusual in that Speyside whiskey is not normally associated with the flavors of peat. This is where this Glenlivet Nadurra shows its unique selling proposition. The peat content is extremely noticeable in combination with the natural cask strength of 62% vol. The urgent note of peat comes through in the nose and reveals a new facet of Glenlivet. The unusual Glenlivet offers a warm taste that alternates between salty, sweet, bitter and sour. Complex yet drinkable, don't expect a classic Glenlivet Speyside Whisky. The Moray distillery, near Ballindalloch, really succeeded in surprising it.
You don't get a peated Glenlivet whiskey every day.
