What does the Longrow 21 Campbeltown Single Malt taste like?
A soft peat note introduces this dram, reminiscent of smoked mussels and cured meat, balanced with sweet notes of apricot and peach. On the palate, the peat note becomes stronger, but retains the coastal character typical of Longrow, with notes of seaweed and samphire in the foreground. The peach and apricot aromas from the nose are complemented by notes of soft, ripe berries. The finish is delicate and creamy with notes of raspberries, caramelized butter and lingering peat smoke.
