Compared to the 'normal' Smokehead, the Smokehead Extra Rare has a little more barrel maturity and at the same time even more steam in the form of a powerful peat note combined with salty seaweed and fresh-fruity notes. The influence of the use of the sherry cask is also clearly visible in the Extra Rare. A whiskey for true Islay fans.

Nose: Smoke and peat, lemons, ginger, spices.
Flavour: Smoky, cocoa, peat, honey, fine sweetness.
Finish: Long-lasting, dry.
