Mortlach releases the 2018 Dufftown trio with a 12 year old, 16 year old and 20 year old whisky.
The Mortlach 20 Years Old matures in former sherry casks.


The number 2.81 on the label represents the number of distillations. Mortlach manages to distil his whiskey 2.81 times.

The process, also referred to by Mortlach as 'The Way', begins with a still using six different stills and 1/5 of them Distilled a third time through another small still called 'Wee Witchie.'

Nose: berries, earthy, spices, fruits.
Flavour: voluminous, leather, apricots, honey, dark berries, caramel cream.
Finish: long-lasting.
