Lochlea Distillery is an independent single malt distillery owned by John Campbell, based at Lochlea Farm in Ayrshire in the Lowlands. The old farm has been converted into a bonded distillery. The distillery started operations in August 2018.

Love, care and attention from field to cask have been paramount in the making of this whiskey. The family-run farm grows and harvests its own barley using draff that is used to feed local cattle. Water is raised from aquifers in the limestone deep below the steading.

Lochlea Sowing Edition First Crop is a single malt Scotch whiskey using only barley from Lochlea Farm, distilled in 2018 and aged for three years exclusively in ex-Bourbon first use casks before being bottled at 48% ABV. without cold filtering and without the addition of dyes.
