The 2024 edition of the Kilkerran 8 Year Single Malt Whiskey was matured exclusively in Oloroso sherry casks - delicious, smoky and wonderfully fruity!
Glengyle Distillery was acquired by Springbank in 2000, with a focus on heavily peated bottlings.

How does Kilkerran 8 2024, Batch #10 taste?

On the nose there are notes of gentle peat smoke, leather-bound books and sticky pudding. On the palate you can clearly taste the familiar, rich and dirty character of the 8 year old Kilkerran sherry series. You can smell the thick date syrup, black currants, cherries, red currants and a maritime coastal flavor. On the finish, notes of ashy medicinal smoke, ginger and chocolate orange emerge as the whiskey develops.
