How does Mitchell’s Glengyle Distillery Kilkerran Campbeltown Single Malt 12 Years taste?
Citrus notes are evident on the nose, including lemon meringue tart and lime juice. This is followed by sweet honey, vanilla and a hint of peat. On the palate it takes a sweet turn with notes of honeydew melon, Danish pastries and biscuits. Followed by maltiness from the rye bread and a coastal influence from sea salt. As the whiskey develops, a savory note emerges; reminiscent of grilled tropical fruits and a shortcrust pastry crust at the end.
