J&B whiskey is blended from up to 40 varieties. The “Exception” matures for 12 years in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. The main base is Knockando Malt Whiskey as well as other malts from Auchorisk, Bowmore, Bunnahabhain, Glen Spey, Macallan and Tamdhu.

The aroma of this whiskey reveals a delicate fruitiness, accompanied by nuances of wheat pastry and a subtle, spicy oak note.

When it comes to taste, you experience ripe, light fruits and spicy oak, which merge harmoniously with each other. This is accompanied by fresh meadow herbs and ripe barley, with a gentle vanilla note in the background.

The finish of this whiskey is light and pleasant. The fruity notes remain, and subtle oak tones are still present in the background.
