On the occasion of the Campbeltown Malts Festival, which will take place at the end of May 2022, the well-known Glen Scotia Distillery has again released a limited whiskey to the delight of whiskey fans, which not only inspires whiskey fans, but is also very popular with collectors.
The special edition 2022 is an 8 year old smoky single malt Scotch whiskey. It was first matured in first-fill bourbon barrels for 7 years and then subjected to a 12-month finish in sherry casks. The sherry casks were high-quality Spanish casks that were previously filled with Pedro Ximénes sherry.
