The heavily peated malts from the Edradour distillery are called 'Ballechin'.
The Edradour Ballechin 8 Years Old is a blend of peated and unpeated single malts from the Edradour distillery.

Different casks are used for maturation, including a sherry butt from the year 2008 (unpeated single malt) and three ex-bourbon casks (peated whiskey).

The bottling is done without coloring and chill filtration.

Colour: Rich gold with accents of amber.
Nose: Peaty, dark fruits, milk chocolate.
Flavour: Creamy chocolate, peat, notes of ginger, dried fruit, ripe cherries, Sandalwood.
Finish: Long-lasting.
