Daftmill is a farm distillery owned and operated by the Cuthbert family.
The distillery is only operational during the farm's quiet times of mid-summer and winter, distilling only a few casks per year.
When Francis Cuthbert does not distill, then he looks after the estate and grows the malting barley from which this Lowland whiskey is made.
The base for the Lowland Single Malt is barley of the Chariot variety from the farm's own fields at Dam Park and Curling Pond,w which were harvested on 31st August 2004.
This harvest is one of the last batches malted in Fife by Robert Kligour & Co.

Fifteen years long the limited whiskey matured in 25 first-fill exBourbon barrels from the Clermont Springs Distillery in Kentucky.
