The distillery was founded in 1869 by John Smith. Like all Distillers Edition whiskeys, this whiskey has also enjoyed a second maturation. For this Cragganmore, a port wine cask was selected for the second maturation.

Nose: Sweet, malty, fruity, juicy, slightly smoky.
Flavour: Complex, sweet, smoky undertones, malty, oak, smoke.
Finish: Long lasting, with notes of oak.
