Bruichladdich The Organic 2010 Single Malt Scotch Whiskey is an unpeated whiskey from the Bruichladdich distillery based on the island of Islay. It is a limited edition and is part of the collection of single malts made exclusively from organically grown barley by Mid Coul Farms. The use of herbicides, pesticides and artificial fertilizers is completely avoided during cultivation. The barley for the Organic 2010 was harvested in 2009. The whiskey was then distilled in 2010 and then aged for 8 years in ex-bourbon American oak casks.
