six-row heirloom with significantly lower yields than other strains, Bere Barley was long forgotten until Bruichladdich got his hands on it! This 2010 vintage was made from barley grown at Weyland & Watersfield, Richmond Villa, Quoyberstane and Northfield Farms and harvested in 2009. The spirit then matured in American oak barrels for eight years and was finally bottled at 50% ABV.
