Bowmore ARC-54 is an exclusive 54-year-old single malt whisky from 1968, created in collaboration with Aston Martin. Matured in sherry and American oak, it offers complex aromas of dark chocolate, dried fruits, and a hint of smoke. The bottle design combines artisanal perfection with futuristic elegance. With only 130 bottles produced worldwide, it is one of Bowmore's rarest whiskies—a masterpiece for collectors and connoisseurs.
What does Bowmore ARC-54 Aston Martin 54 Years Old 1968 taste like?
The nose unfolds intense aromas of ripe dark fruits such as plums and raisins. These blend harmoniously with a pleasant sherry sweetness, accompanied by roasted nuts, mocha, and a hint of cigar box. Subtle oak notes and a light smoke elegantly round off the complex bouquet.
On the palate, the whisky is exceptionally smooth and profound. Aromas of dark chocolate, dried fruit, leather, and sweet tobacco dominate. The influence of the Oloroso sherry is subtle yet present, complemented by delicate vanilla notes, spicy accents, and a gentle, elegant peat smoke.
The finish is long, warm, and extremely refined. It is characterized by noble wood tones, a subtle bitterness, a hint of salt, and a lingering, finely integrated smokiness reminiscent of Bowmore's maritime origins.
